Review: Prime Wellness Waltz 9A #8 & Double Afghan Chunk #37 Flower

This was my first purchase of Prime Wellness's new nitrogen sealed containers. The flower quality was great, but I also had opened it immediately and it was a new shipment. Said to be a sativa (on Prime Wellness's website), it's parents are Dawg's Waltz (indica dominant) and Kunduz 9A Haze. I could find nothing about this Kunduz pheno and I wouldn't call this a heavy sativa. I wasn't overly energetic and it didn't aggravate my anxiety like some sativas do. Good for stress and relaxing, but won't put you to sleep.

Double Afghan Chunk #37

#37 is the gas pheno. This indica-dominant flower was phenomenal. If you can zoom in on the picture below, you can see the blues in this bud. Its parents are chunkdawg and (lashkargah x 9A95). Great for pain, stress, depression, anxiety, and sleep.

This indica dominant hybrid is a cross between a GTI House strain called Great Divide (Kosher Kush x Phishhead Kush) and Platinum GSC. Despite the high terpenes said to be in this, I found the taste and smell to be subtle. Best for evening use, for relaxing and sleep.

A cross between East Coast Sour Diesel and Lost Tribe, this sativa dominant strain will keep you energized without the anxiety. The flower was great quality with a sour taste.

Terrapin Sour Tangie

(Sativa)

A cross between East Coast Sour Diesel and Tangie. Very energizing but also relaxed and relieved my anxiety, probably due to the limonene content. It had a good taste and smelled of citrus. Citrus and sour strains are better sativas to consume if you have anxiety. Look for Limonene

This sativa dominant hybrid is a cross between Chemdog and I95.  According to their website, pheno #2 is the "fuel pheno". The terpenes in this are amazing. It's the perfect balance of relaxed and awake. Great for anxiety, stress, depression, and pain.
